I have Z-series Monster speaker wire going to my fronts and center (RF7, RC7). The speaker wire needs to be the same length due to timing, etc. according to the sales guy.

My surround speakers (RS7) doesn't use Monster wire. Do the surround speakers need to have the same length wire even if it isn't Z-series Monster wire?

A complete myth. Speaker wires can be different lengths.
