Thread: Home Theater speakers for a large room |

I would appreciate advice on what speakers to purchase for a home theater set-up in a relatively large room. The room is about 16 feet wide by 24 feet long, ceilings are only a little over 7 feet high. The TV will be centered along the longer wall. I'm looking for a 5 speaker/one subwoofer package that has relatively small rear speakers (purely for aesthetic reasons) and costs in the neighborhood of $800. I expect to hook the speakers up to a Yamaha RX-V750 receiver, though I have not purchased it yet.
