This is my first post:

I recently inherited a speaker set from my brother in law. It's a Cambridge Soundworks, two bookshelf, two surround sounds and an unpowered (passive?) subwoofer. No documentation and he can't remember how he used to have it connected.

The thing is, I'm not sure how to connect the subwoofer.

The sub has two sets of inputs on the bottom, input right and input left.

Do I run lines left and right from the receiver to the subwoofer and then from the subwoofer on to the speakers?

Or

Do I run lines from to the receiver to the subwoofer and lines from the receiver to the speakers?

Or something else?

Thanks

If the sub only has speaker connectors labeled in put you will run separate wires to the sub and wires to the speakers from the reciever.
