I am trying to hook up my stereo system to my TV for a cheap way for surround sound. My stereo has an Audio line in... and my tv (sanyo) only has A/V Lines in, plus commponent line in. Now from what I understand, I need need an Audio Ouput on my tv for the system to work. My questions is this: is there any possible way to get an output going through my TV, like any acessories or devices that could allow this? Or are my Inputs on the TV fine and I'm just not doing something right? PLEASE HELP... Any suggestions or knowledge would be helpful.

You need audio output from the TV or from a VCR to get sound to the reciever.

If you are using a cable or satelite box you can get your audio feed from there.
