I have a small apartment, but a big subwoofer. So that the sub is out of the way, I put it next to the couch (where I watch tv). The sub is sandwiched between a wall and the couch with only a few inches on either side. My qestion is, is this a home theater mistake?

Any advice from you experts out there would be very much appreciated!

If the driver faces down or forward and the crossover is low enough, it should be OK.
