I have an Onkyo HT-R500 receiver. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have the stereo signal from a satalite box run through the receiver and be picked up by the TV without having to turn on the receiver?
Currently I have to have a coax connection directly from the satalite box to the TV, but this only delivers a mono signal. The TV has a second set of av inputs but they are located on the front and I do not want to have cables hanging out the front of my TV all the time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
