Hi All,

I'm looking for some opinions/insights. I just purchased an Onkyo HT-S760. I am considering mounting the 3 rear surrounds (Left, Center, Right) in the ceiling, since I don't really have the floor space for speaker stands.

Couple questions:

Are all wall/ceiling mounts pretty much the same? Will the ones I can pick up at Fry's, Best Buy, CC, Radio Shack, etc. work just fine for me?

What is a good distance (from where the listener will be seated) for the rear speakers to be mounted at?

I'd also love to hear any "do's & don't's", "gotchas", or suggestions for running my speaker wiring through the wall and attic. I'm a pretty handy fella, so I don't think this will be much of a problem. But....it's always good to hear other people's experiences!

Thanks, I'm looking forward to your ideas!
