I am trying to connect my DVD player to a Sony STR AV 1070 receiver. I need to use an RCA splitter on the audio cables from tghe DVD player to connect them to both my TV and my receiver. The problem is when audio is played through the receiver, it is out of sync with the video. I am using component video connections on the DVD player. I cannot connect the audio from my TV to my receiver because my TV requires a digital audio connection which my receiver does not have, The audio through the TV is in sync and when both the receiver and TV volumes are used, a terrible echo results. My receiver currrently has only two speakers connected and they are connected through the front speaker outputs and all processors (surround, etc.) have been turned off and the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated.
