I am starting my HT system. I just bought a Denon AVR-4802R and I am trying to decide between the Polk RTi8 Series or the Klipsch reference 50 series. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Lori;

I would think either would pair well with your denon. Personally, I like the Klipsch, but that is my opinion. I tend to like the sound brighter (not overly so) and I perceive the Klipcsh as being a bit brighter.

To me the Polk's are a bit warmer.

They are both really good speakers and I think you would be happy with either.

Hope that helps.

I think that there is a very slim difference between Klipcsh and Polk. My personal favorite are the Klipsch, only because I think they have a little clearer sonud. not that Polk does,nt have a clear sound but Quite that of the Klipsch.

To my ears Denon and Klipsch are way too bright together. Polk maybe also. Denon's have a thin, detailed sound and benefit from a mellower speaker. Check out Paradigm, PSB and B&W.
