Just bought a Denon HTIB w/ virtual surround sound. Will hook up a Direct TV receiver and a flat panel LCD TV. So, need to make the following connections:

Video: Sat receiver to TV
Video: Denon unit to TV
Audio: Sat receiver to Denon unit
Speaker wires, including Sub wire

Should I pay the money for Monster Cable to replace all of the above, some, or none at all and just stick with the provided wires?

Will need a power strip, so probably should invest in a surge protector. But, should I spend the extra money for a unit that is also a power conditioner (Monster HTS 800) or even the HTS 1000 which has the stage 2 conditioner (and is a nicer, mountable unit).

Currently setting this system up in a 10x17 bedroom, but will probable transfer it all to a new home in about a year, so want to take that into consideration (willing to spend the extra money now if I can use the cables and/or power surge conditioner for a bigger room or even new system).

Thanks in advance
