I have the sony ht-ddw750 and i have the fiber optic conection , but in the screen i cant see 5.1 or dts i can only see or shows the 3/2.1 in the screen how can i put the best audio |

Greetings, The first things to check are the speaker settings (page 15): http://www.docs.sony.com/release/HTDDW750.pdf then check the sound field settings (pages 23 - 25) |

As far as I know that spec is 5.1. Does the display also indicate Digital with the Dolby logo next to it? Its more likely to have Digital with the Dolby logo as most movies and other media have that content. |

OK THEY TELL ME THE your decoder lights up and it says DD 3/2 or 3/2.1 this means you are gett Dolby Digital 5.1. 3 being your center and 2 fronts, 2 meaning your 2 rears and the .1 being the sub. My old Sony receiver did the same thing. Not sure why it doesn't just say DD 5.1 or DTS like most other receivers , I GUEES THATS THE ANSEWER , THANKS |
