Do you have the speakers hooked up to the receiver? Are you OK there? What TV are you using? What hookups are available on the DVR? |

I have the speakers hooked up to the receiver with reg speaker wires and everything else is just basic setup to sub and center thru the tv sound output to receiver. I was hoping for a better way to get the best possible true digital sound but dont know how to go about doing this...... I have a samsung lcd 46 inch LN46A550 but i dont know what kind of configuration the dvr has. Its a standard AT&T Uverse multi room DVR that can record 4 shows at once (2 hd and 2 sd) |

First, make sure you are running digital audio into the receiver from all sources. I believe the PS3 uses optical on its output. You'll have to look for an output on the DVR. It will be either optical or coax. |
