I found all your posts about repairing Bose systems and would like to see if you can assist me as well.

My System is a Lifestyle 12

Console serial # is 020040C8307 0971A
DOM: 981103

Acustimass Serial # is 00878298329 0595A
DOM: 981125

I have no volume coming out of the satellite speakers in any mode. When the failure occurred we had turned on the system and noticed the volume was a little high and didn’t sound quite right, we attempted to turn down the volume and noticed that we couldn’t turn it down with the remote or at the console. This went on for a few minutes and then the entire sound went out an will not come back on.

I have already removed the cover on the acustimass and determined the main fuse is in good condition and passing the required 120 volts. I have also plugged a set of headphones into the console and found that the volume in the headphones works just fine.

I am uncertain as to what acustimass I have to follow more of your suggestions on the forum.

Any help you could supply would be greatly appreciated.
