I bought some 14G speaker wire from lowes to use with my new setup, but I'm haveing a hard time stripping the covers off the ends without damaging the speaker wire. The only tool I have is a wire cutter for single wires. Are there tools that will help with the 2 wires connected? Or any tips? Thanks

There are tools called wire st....rs. They have an adjustable "v" that grips the insulation, cuts around it, and pulls it off. With a bit of care, an ordinary pair of scissors will cut around the insulation, and you can pull it off by hand without damaging the copper core. It may not be good for the scissors.
