Okay I've got a cheapy durabrand surround sound system that I hooked up to my dish network receiver using an optical cable. The problem is when I change channels, pause, and when tv first turns on there is a 30+ second delay before the sound comes on. I have since switched to rca cables and it works fine that way but I would like to know what the problem might be.
