I realize this is a home theater forum, but I need help with my recording studio. I have a 3-room studio with double stud construction in my basement. We are ready to drywall (two layers of 5/8" with Green Glue in between), but I can't figure out what to put behind the drywall to help with isolation (foam, channels, clips, etc.) Also, the big problem is my ceiling, it's only 7'2". I need to suspend it without losing height. Any ideas? If there are any acoustic engineers out there, your help is greatly appreciated. |

Check out some of the ads that popped up on this page for some solutions. What do you mean by double stud? Double wall or staggered stud? |
