Need some guidance. I am purchasing a Sony 52" XBR6, Sony HT-SS2300 blue-ray home theater, and a Sony BDP-S350 blue-ray player. I have a Direct Tv HD-DVR receiver and an older Sony VCR. I plan on using HDMI for everything except for the VCR. How do I integrate everything and still get the VCR to work with the surround sound system. TV arrives next week. Please help. Thanks |

Connect composite AV (yellow/red/white) from the sat receiver into the VCR. Run yellow video out from the VCR into the TV, and run red/white audio into the Sony audio receiver. That means no audio going into the TV from the VCR, so you'll have to use the home theater system for audio when you play a tape. |
