I purchased a PS3 instead of a blue ray player since it seemed to provide more options. I have connected with a digital optical cable to a Sony Receiver DE885, and to my HDTV with HDMI. I select digital audio ouput and this works fine on my 5.1 speaker set up with regular DVDs but not with Blue Ray discs. The sound keeps cutting out - sort of seems that the receiver cannot handle the signal, although this is not all the time. I have tried changing the digital optical cable, but the problem remained. What might be the problem?
