Got a Yamaha rx-v1300 receiver. I need speakers and the wife will only go with something small. I can't go the front tower route, etc. I need some opinions on small speakers, 6.1 setup that will give me some good sound for both music and movies for somewhere between 0 and 1000 bucks. Thanks. |

I've seen reviews of the RBH CT-5's before, and they sound impressive, but where do you buy them? |

For Yamaha the only speaker I can recommend is Paradigm performance series like the Titan. Great sounding and not much money. |

Paradigm is VERY good. If you are looking for something smaller, goto http://www.energy-speakers.com/speakers/speakers.html and look at the Encore and Takes. Now Hear This http://www.nhthifi.com/home_product_vintage.asp?subjectid=12 Supers are small and finally the Point 5s from Athena http://www.athenaspeakers.com/ are small and easy to get. Best Buy even sells them. Athena and Energy are made by the same company. Hope this helps. |
