ok..

Motorola Digital Cable box
Sony STR-DG520 Multi Channel AV
Xbox 360
Sharp Aquos Blue Ray Player

I have everything I thought hooked up correctly..

Digital Bable box, I am running component cables and rca's from box to satellite in on the receiver..

Xbox 360 running component cables into the video input on the receiver.

Blue ray running hdmi in to the bd in slot, and optical into the bd optical slot.

running only HDMI into a panasonic 50inch plasme with 2 hdmi inputs..

I am getting no picture on anything, and only sound on the xbox 360.. So i am terribly confused..

Should i be running a component out into my tv for picture for the xbox and cable box?

Sincerely,
one who is lost..

According to this:

yes you will need to run component to the TV. This is unfortunate but considering the cost of the AVR...

BTW-You should be getting a picture from your Blu-ray, if you are not there must be a setting that is not done correctly.
