I have a KLH R5100 receiver. And I have just a VCR and a CD player hooked up. But my rear speakers are not producing any sound. When I run the test though they all are working right. Can someone tell me how I can get these two speakers working for either surround sound or just so they produce some sound at all. Thanks in advance.

Did you press the Surround mode until there are 6 boxes on right side of the display? If yes, then the input from your VCR or CD player may playing a mono channel. Try hook up another device or make sure the CD player L/R outputs didn't link together.
