Can someone give me an idea on how I should hookup a comcast cable box to my home theatre system? I'm getting one today and would really appreciate some help on this... My original question and details of my home theater system is in this thread... http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/3/490788.html Thanks, Stephen |

if it helps any, the comcast cable box has an RF IN, RF OUT, and a A/V jack (Red/White/Yellow). |

Your cable box should have more on the back of it than that, doesn't it? |

Ideally you will be hooking another optical cable from the cable box to the DTV/CBL input of your Yamaha and another S-Video cable from your cable box to the DTV/CBL video section. If the cable box does not have these outputs (get a box that does) hook the composite (red/white/yellow) to the DTV/CBL inputs and run a yellow composite video cable to your TV. |
