I bought a Sony DAV-HDX275 BRAVIA DVD Home Theater System recently in NY and wanted to take it to India. My question is whether the system will work in India or not with the DVD,MP3 and other writable CDs manufactured in India?
What do i do to make it work for 220V supply in India?
Also is there any other things i need to take care while taking the sytem to India? |

I believe that the dvd player on that receiver is region locked, therefor will only play dvd's from the region that you bought it. If sony offers a region unlock code you might be able to get it from tech support. Also you will have to have a tv that is NTSC not PAL, because they transmit differently. I am not sure about the power supply, but while your on the phone with tech support I would ask them about that... maybe some type of adapter! Either way keep sand out of the speakers lol, good luck! |
