i have a sony dvd/home theatre system, all 5 speakers are hooked up properly. i only realized recently that sound was only comming out of the front lest and right speakers. i did a test on the setup menu and sound came out from all 5 speakers, but when i listen on tv, dvd, bluray and on the pc, sound still only comes out from the 2 front speakers, how can i fix this, any help would be appreciated |

check if the receiver has any settings for "stereo", "dolby digital" etc surround options. If it is set to "stereo", the sound will only come from the front L/R speakers even if you play a Dolby/DTS encoded dvd.
Try setting it to Dolby/DTS while playing dvds. |
