I have the following items:

AV Switch Box-5 input & 2 output jacks
TV
Satellite Dish
DVD Recorder/VCR Recorder Combo
DVD PLayer
CD Player
Receiver
Wireless Infared - Small Dishes one is the transmitter & 1 the receiver so that I can receive transmissions from everything plugged into the AV Switch box in the bedroom without wires
9 Y Splitters so that I can expand the av switch box beyond 5 input & 2 output

I need some help I want to be able to record off of the dish. I currently have this plugged in but I cannot watch the TV without the DVD Recorder/VCR Recorder Combo being on.

Any advice? I appreciate any & all. Thanks!

How is the recorder setup? What connections are you using? Need to know more about how everything is conected...
