I BOUGHT A NEW 684 B&W SPEAKERS(ALONG WITH THE HTM62 CENTER AND A PAIR OF DM-303 FOR SOROUND SPEAKERS).IM SETTING UP MY NEW 5.1 HT AND HAVE A BIG INDESICION ABOUT TWO RECEIVERS: NAD T744 Vs HK 347. WHAT WOULD MACTH BETTER FOR THIS SPEAKERS SET UP? I WANT TO GET A SUPERB SOUND IN STEREO.. |

The NAD is a highly regarded receiver that is claimed to be very good for music. The HK reviews I see confirm what I learned several years ago in that they are simply not user friendly. They do, however sound really good! I suspect there would be a big enough difference between the two of these that I would make all attempts to audition them prior to making a final decision. Either way you go you will want a good subwoofer if you don't already have one. |

HI JIM BAY I HAVE HEARED BOTH OF THEM AND THOUGH THE NAD SOUNDED MORE NATURAL THE HK WAS VERY WARM AND DEEP RICHFULL SOUND... STILL,I DONT KNOW WHAT IS THE RIGHT DECISION.. B.T.W HOW MUCH DO THEY BOTH COST? |

Not necessarily but if you like the sound of both of them I would go with the cheaper one. The most important factor is how it sounds to you. If you buy a receiver with a reputable brand name the decision should be made by your ears! |
