Hey,

I'm just a poor college kid right now.

But i want to hook up my TV which has no A/V outputs to my stereo reciever so that i can hear the TV on the good speakers.

Right now i have a DVD player which is hooked up in the A/V inputs of the TV and reciever. so the DVD player does work on the nice speakers instead of the ones in the tv. but the dvd playe doesn't have any inputs for an auxilary audio source.

Is this possible? for cheap?

'Drinking Beer', or something like that, had a similar question. If this doesn't happen to be the answer, I'm sure the Shack may have something similar.

Buy a cheap HI-FI vcr. Connect rabbit ears to it as the antenna and use it's built in tuner for channel selection. The vcr will have stereo outputs to run to your receiver and a video line to run to your tv.
