I have a question for a possible HT setup. After much reading on this site and others I have kind of narrowed my pick for the reciever to either a HK 430/630 from Harman Audio on ebay (been going for $450-650). I haven't pulled the trigger yet we are waiting for a new addition to be completed on our house that will have the setup.
I came across the MMG-w/c series from some other sites and the wife loved the unconventional size and wall mounting capabilities of these speakers. I am thinking about adding a SVS cylinder sub to go along with them. My only problem is the 4 ohm rating for these things.
Will the HK be able to drive these speakers or do I need to look elswhere for a reciever? If so any recomendations? Do I need to look at seperates? |
