Need some help looking for a new home theater system. I obviously want it to sound good but it doesnt have to be anything too crazy cuz its just for my bedroom. Some things I was wanting is a usb port that i can plug my external harddrive in to and watch movies from that. Also a plug for my ipod. I want the hdmi hook up that will upconvert dvds but it seems most systems have that now anyway. If possible i would like some wireless speakers. Ive been researching this for days and havent found one yet. I really need to get one. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
Check with the Home Theater Computers forum for the hard drive sourced movies. An iPod can be handled either with a dock (the best way to go) or a simple mini jack to RCA's.
So far the wireless speakers are few, far between, and from all indications very poor or very expensive.
Not what you want to hear I bet but I know why you are having such trouble finding what you want.
