I have a Kenwood HTB 505 and I'm noticing that the center speaker is prodominantly louder than the left and right speakers and I can hardly hear anything come out of my surround sound speakers. I need help in getting the speakers calibrated properly. My first thought was to turn up the surround sound speakers to almost as high as they'll go and tone down the center speaker but I'm not sure if it will help me out in the long run.

I live in an apartment so my entertainment center is in the corner of the room which I have all of the speakers angled toward my couch with the surround sound speakers sitting on a talbe directly behind the couch (which they are at ear level). Is this right? What can I do to get true surround sound from my system and max performance?

Please help.

I forgot to post that I'm always running the prologic 2 movie mode all of the time because that seems to be the best mode for the surround sound that I'm getting.
