Ideally, I'd like to run various video inputs (HDMI, compondent, etc.) into my receiver, and run one single video output (HDMI) to the plasma.

Is there a way that a receiver can force multiple video input sourcing (HDMI, compondent) to a single video output? If so, what is this called and so I can purchase the proper receiver?

Thanks,
Mase

My Onkyo TX-SR705 does that. You can connect any device that you want and it all goes thru one hdmi out to the tv. It has 3 hdmi inputs and plenty of all other formats for input and is THX certified. The Onkyo TX-SR605 does also and is a little less expensive but only has one less hdmi input -it has a total of 2 hdmi inputs and is not THX certified. The Onkyo TX-SR705 is on sale online at circuit city for 649.99 and they honor that price in store.
