We recently (by ourselves) installed a Yamaha 5.1 home theatre system. It sounds pretty good but I would like it to sound the best it should be and my question is...should most of the sound be coming from the centre channel speaker. Also, should ALL the speakers be facing square, e.g. the two small speakers are behind the centre speaker facing in a little and also the two mini tower speakers are facing a little in toward each other. The system is not exactly in the middle of the sofa where we sit and listen to it but the centre speaker IS the loudest. We hear very little sound from the 2 back tower speakers at any time. We're not experienced at this kind of system but I AM a little annoyed at "it's good enough"... Thanks for any advice received. |
