I have an older magnavox digital surround sound receiver mfx-450 a mintek dvd player model 1600 and a magnovox vcr and daewoo dtq20u4sc tv and just got digital cable can anyone please help me set this up. I have been working on it all day. It was never hooked up right. I finally got the tv and vcr going out of the home theatre but cant figure out the dvd player to the tv and the surround sound Can anyone please help?

Connect the DVD player's audio output to the receiver and the Video output to the TV.
