hi everyone,im new to all this electronics stuff recenty i bought a 55"jvc rear projection tv now i need surround sound i been looking around at differnt systems from 6ave,cicuitcity,pcrichards..etc i really like the 2 bigger speakers that are built into stands for each side of the tv but alot of the decent systems dont come with that.i heard the onyko sr800 is pretty good for the $$$ but what do i no ..lol im looking for a nice sound without breaking the bank what do you guys suggest?thank you |

From my experience...at the price point of the SR800, they are pretty much the same. They will, however, sound differently from each other. Different does not necessarily mean better or worse.
Go out to circuit City or what ever box store that is available to you and listen to them. Look for the features you want and what you deem is necessary for your enjoyment. Then buy it.
Onkyo is pretty reputable...but not my first choice. You should be able to find a Denon at that price point. |
