Hi all - I need some advice from you guys. I was wondering with wich sub i should go with for my system. the jbl sub12 12" or the jbl 10" balboa series, the room is aprox. 12' x 14' is relatively small, will the 12" be too over bearing and bassy? any advice will be appreciated |

Does it have a level control on it? Any of them should be adjustable at the receiver and at the sub so you can set them to accomodate whatever level you are happy with. |

You are better off having more than you need then less than you need. |

yes they both have level controls but the 12" might be too much i know people who have a 12" and always keep it at the lowest level cause is too much |

Jeff thanks for your help. I hooked both subs today and there's no comparison the 12" jbl blows the ten away in sound and bass clarity. |
