I have an Onkyo Ht-R520 as far as I know the setup I did on it is flawless. The problem I have are varying degrees of sound quality when using my Motorola Cable box. I have it connected optical spdif and do get Dolby Digital EX for most of my high def stations. The center channel output in Dolby D EX on some of the stations i really poor. Example; Fox -HD sucks sounds like they are talking with a blanket stuck over there heads and you can barely hear what they are saying! For the most part the sound is nice for most of the stations. Is this a problem with the cable box or the avr? Would it do any good to try digital coax instead? Any opinions on my Onyo HT-R520? Its a 6.1 Channel.

It may be the stations. My local CW HD has been broadcasting 2 channel since October. My receiver shows 5.0 audio, but it only comes out left/right. I've called them at least a half a dozen times, it hasn't done any good.
