Could someone please help. I have been using my sony ht-k25 home theater unit for some time without any problems.But now I get the message 'unlock'when trying to use on the dvd setting.It works fine on the tv and satellite settings. Any ideas?
Sony has made up it's mind which input you should be using and locks out the others. from Sony:
The word UNLOCK may appear in the display if there is a problem receiving a digital audio signal. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue.
1. Ensure the correct input is selected to receive the Audio/Video (A/V) from the appropriate source. 2. Ensure a digital cable is connected to appropriate DIGITAL jack. 3. Ensure the other end of the digital cable is properly connected to the A/V source. 4. Ensure the A/V source is set appropriately to output a digital signal.
NOTE: The A/V source may have a DTS setting that needs to be turned on, or a DPCM setting that needs to be set to Dolby Digital.
