I have a Lenoxx AVR 100 5.1 Ch AV Receiver, The prob i am having is when i am playing DVD's and there is silence on the audio like between lines in a song or between lines in a movie, the sound from the receiver goes off as if it is muted then kicks back in after a few seconds. This problem only occurs when palying DVD's or audio CD's. When watching TV there is no sound probs at all. Very frustrated and any help would be appreciated. |

If the audio is cutting out on both TV broadcasts and DVD sources, then your receiver is at fault. It may need to be repaired or replaced. You can narrow it down to the culprit. On your DVDs, check if the audio cuts out in the same time frame all the time. If it does then it is the DVD source itself, but if it is intermittent, then it is the receiver. For TV broadcasts it is usually in cycles and usually happens in a pattern if it is a broadcast issue. If it is intermittent...then it is your receiver. |
