So I am in the planning phase of my home theater. And I have some questions about a potential deal on polk audio speakers. Here is what I am planning so you know what I am dealing with.
sony 46" Bravia (probably the w3000 not the XBR)
Onkyo 605 (read some pretty good reviews here and the price is pretty good)

so for speakers, was at a local store this weekend, doing some research and they had two polk sets on sale. The first is 6750r- 5 speaker set for 299$. Second is the RM10 -4 speakers, no sub woofer for 499. The polk site doesn't even have teh 6750s so i am guessing they are pretty old but if they are really solid speakers does it matter? I should mention that I will use the set up for movies (either Blueray or HDDVD-don't have either yet), HP through directTV, and Xbox live! I am not an audiofile by any means but want a good sound experience(surround) especially for movies and games. Do either of the above mentioned offers sound like a good setup for a first time HT buyer?
thanks.
