We bought a new Sony Bravia TV and with it we bought a Denon AVR1508 receiver with JVC speakers. We got the receiver working with the radio, but we can't figure out how to get it to work with the TV. We followed the instructions in plugging all the items in where they are supposed to be and rechecked the setup chart. Any help someone can give will be greatfully appreciated. |

Carolyn the best connection between the cable box and the receiver is Digital Coaxial cable (most cable boxes have this connection) or Optical cable depending on the out put on the cable box. You don't just plug in the wires to there correct inputs, but you have to do a set up in the receivers menu and the cable box menu. In the Denon you have to go to the digital input assignments and select Coaxial as the TV/DBS connection. In the cable box you have to go top the setup menu and turn on the Dolby Digital out put.
Why did you get JVC speakers, they are a video company. |
