I've just used some simple shelf brackets from Home Depot. You can even get some nice pine ones for under 10 bucks. How heavy is the speaker? |

With the help of my locally owned home theater store, I got this wall bracket and it has worked well for me.

The bracket is a Sanus Visionmount VMAVB-01 (black), or a VMAVS-01 (silver). Vann's sells both. http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/item/features/763040815 http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/item/features/763040573 |

That speaker is a DefTech CLR 2002. 21 3/4" wide and 12" deep. 25 pounds. Sanus claims up to 45 pounds with this bracket. I put a piece of wood in the back of the speaker to angle it down towards the seating area. |

Thanks Angelo and David. Apologies to Seth for hijacking his thread temporarily... The towers are Definitive Technology BP 2004, bipolar with side firing 10" woofer driven by an internal 250 watt amp. As I said above the center is DefTech CLR 2002. Surrounds are the bipolar DefTech BP2X. There's no sub. Maybe it's a happy accident with this room, but I have measured usable bass down to 30 Hz. That's good enough for me---I am not a bass freak. I listen to a lot of music and I need balance. I know DefTech gets no respect around here among the audiophiles and that's OK. I know there's better stuff out there. I've said before that if I were made of money you'd see some big MartinLogan panels and a serious rack of amps to run them in these pictures: http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t171/JohnS45/cave56.jpg http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t171/JohnS45/cave55.jpg http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t171/JohnS45/cave53.jpg Sorry Seth, back to you now. |

I have heard Def tech speakers matched up with other speakers more than any others speakers over the years and they never disapiont, my PF 15 sub is still going strong, I dont recommened them to people because they will most likely set them up rong, and yes If we all had more money |
