Hey guys,

I have a home theatre here with a basic cable. I have it hooked up to my xbox with the digital optical but I want to hook it up directly to my TV. How can I do this without a digital cable receiver?

This is my home theatre receiver:

If your TV has audio output jacks, you can get TV audio by hooking them up to the HT receiver.
If that's not the case, you could also use the audio outputs from an external device such as a VCR or DVD recorder with built-in tuner.

If you want digital surround like your xbox gives you, then you'll have to bite the bullet and get a digital cable box.
