I have a Koss model ks2503 home theater, and i was told that all i needed to hook it up to my playstaion 2 was a digital optical cable, i hooked it up but now can not figure out how to set-up the stereo to play the sound coming from the playstation... does anybody know? |

Dana, that optical socket on the Koss is actually an output. It's not built to receive any signals. The only digital audio input you have is coax. You need to use that, if your playstation has a coax output. If it doesn't you'll need to buy a converter for optical®coax. |

Fred, As John's post mentioned your receiver will also need to have a digital audio input for the PS3 to play surround sound. I used to find digital audio cables at Walmart for less than 7 or 8 bucks. Now, I don't think Walmart carries the reasonably priced brand in the red pack. |
