my symphonics TV (27 inch, dvd and vcr combo) has one digital audio coax output.
ive attached this to a sony (STR-DE475) receiver.
that is hook up to the old 3 speaker bose acoustimass system ( i know i know, ill never get bose again - trust me!)
in any case, it is all working fine with an external CD player attached to the receiver - so i know the speakers are hooked properly.
but when i switch to digital coax input i get nothing. the tv is indeed on.
any idea?

got the answer - thanks anyway -
the tv only outputs while a dvd is running -
now, since the tv remote is lost - i have to order a new one bc the sounds is really strange - a lot of echo, but i think that will be fixed after accessing the tv menu, which changes the output for the audio coax ... |
