I just bought a Sharp Aquos 46" LCD HDTV. I hooked the component cable from my sat rec to the TV and the picture is not as good as the s-video or the composite cable. The receiver is not HD but I thought the component cable would still be better. Is there something I have to do to make the picture better? Settings to adjust? |

Are you using true 75ohm cable for the component connection? |

Kris. A Component cable will hardly look any different than a S-Video cable if the receiver and the source are not both High Def. You will want to get a high def receiver and a high def package from your Sat dealer. Cheers. |

Component should look better than s-video and definitely better than composite. If it looks worse, you've got a bad cable or a poor quality satellite receiver or something. |
