I've got this crazy ideal to hook up everything analog on the pre out on the receiver to my DVD player.I have very low sound,and by turning up are down the reciever,will not change anything.Can anybody tell me how to switch it on.THX |

Connect the DVD to the receiver with a digital output, coax or optical. |

your cant run the pre out connection on a receiver to a DVD player. The pre out connections are for adding a power amp into your system. You will get a low volume and no volume control. Do as David said, hook your dvd player to your receiver using a Digital cable. |

Do you mean using the analog outs on the DVD player to the analog inputs on the receiver? Your 3805 supports that, but I'm not sure how to adjust the volume. Maybe you have to adjust settings on the DVD player? What DVD player do you have? |
