how do i get round the problem of connecting my sky box to my surround i have a samsung HT-X30 surround and a samsung LE40R8 40" LCD the problem is my surround has a digital input (optical)and my sky box doesn't i hope there's a way around this PLEASE HELP !!!

Craig, the best way is to upgrade to either Sky+ or Sky HD. Both of the receivers for these subscriptions have TOSLink audio outputs. Some old Sony and Grundig standard def receivers also have digital outputs.

GO HD! It would be a shame to continue with standard-def service with such a nice TV as yours.

thanks for the advice john i will probley go for the sky+ there's not enough hd channels has yet to temp me to go hd
