I have a HTiB, panansonic, just passed the warranty, and everytime we are watching a movie, when the noise goes lound (sudden booms etc) all the noise goes out, but the video keeps going. the only way to get it back on, until the next boom or scream, is to just turn it off, and turn it back on. Its a all inclusive system, 5 disc surround sound, so there are no other devices hooked up to it. Im bought ready to chuck it through the wall, but it was one of the more expensive systems we've had, so if its salvage-able, I would love to fix it. any advice??

how loud do you have it? my guess is that you have it too loud, and the protection circuits are activating.

if you have this unit in a large room, and turn it up to really hear it, this may happen..
