Are all audio CD's 2 channel stereo sound? I recall that Pink Floyd, Dark Sound of the Moon was engineered in 4 channel sound. |

Yeah it was. But it is the only idea I could think of where there were more than 2 channels of sound. I was curious if some audio CD's today are made in surround. |

I haven't heard of any unless you count SACDs and DVD-Audio. |

I thought those formats were the next generation CD's, using a higher sampling rate. This would allow for "closer to analog" signals for 2 channel sound. |
