I am in the market for a new receiver. Does anyone know which of these receivers would be the better choice. Denon-AVR3802 or Integra-DTR5.1?

Thanks,

Jeffery

The Denon 3802 and the Integra 5.2 are not even close. The Denon cost alot more to. If you want an Integra that is about the same price look at the 6.2. It is a great sounding reciever. I think the Integras are better built reviever than the Denons are.

I Agree Joanthan,

The Integra systems are well built. I like the Integra 6.2 because of the clean sound, no humms or hisses but I like the Denon 3802 because it seems to have more details in the sound when listening to Music and Movies plus it has more features.

What are your opinions? Does anyone notice any differences in sound between Integra and Denon?

Don't drive yourself nut's. Basically you can't go wrong... I own the 3802 and love it. I chose it over Yamaha, Onkyo aka Integra, and I came very close to going with the Outlaw. Check out http://www.graskinhometheatre.bigstep.com/generic.html?pid=18 For pure value however you must consider the Outlaw http://www.outlawaudio.com/home.html
Good luck.

I was inches from getting the outlaw but it just didn't have enough power for me. Cool equipment though.
